It's Been a While...

It has, hasn't it?
So much has happened since September... Good & bad.

For instance, that job offer I mentioned in my last post? Well, I had the job in the cafe for all of roughly 3 weeks. The owner decided since I was going on holidays to America over Christmas, she didn't have much use for me, so told me I could go back in February... Fair to say I did not return.
However... I went to America! Woo! Colorado :D I love that place so much! I highly recommended the state as a holiday destination... It's lovely at Christmas.

In October, I finally broke up with K, my boyfriend. He didn't take it that well, which is understandable, but we still don't talk anymore. I found that he can be a bit of an asshole. He put me on the guilt trip for a good while which was a horrid experience...
But, during mid-Janurary, a close friend of mine, DA, told me he liked me! I mean, really liked me. It just so happened I quite happened to really like him too & we've been going out ever since. :) he's such a cute little sweetheart ^_^

I've lost two friends, J & R, over a stupid fight. However, from the way things look & have gone, I really doubt they were my friends in the first place. It'll take too long to explain, but it's honestly a whole load of immaturity on their behalf & stupidity. So much so, it makes me so angry just thinking about it. I want to smash their heads together. This happened over a month ago, I'd say, but, because D, another close friend of mine, played neutral in the whole thing, she's still caught between the two groups, (A & myself vs J & R), so we tend to be around each other, especially because our school is so small. I can't go a day of school without being reminded of it & I can't even tell D how I feel most of the time because she, understandably, doesn't want to hear about the fight. This is difficult for myself, though. There's a lot of mind games & it gets to me at times... So it angers me a little that she won't just let me talk it out to her. If it was me, I'd put aside my feelings & what my thoughts were, just to let her vent...
I might explain the whole thing another day. It's just a long story.

I do know who my real friends are now though; A, IM (Swedish friend), D & my boyfriend DA. EMA is another person I would consider a very good friend. :)
As mam said, life has it's way of filtering people out. Those that stick around are the people worth keeping.

Other things have happened but nothing overly important. I shall be blogging once again every so often so watch this spot :P

Phew...!

Everything is just go, go, go lately, hasn't it?

Between school, homework & trying to help Mam, things are jut so hectic. It's hard to find a minutes peace within the short, jammed-busy days. But that's what the weekend is for, right? Though, I swear my teachers are aiming to fill my only free time with homework too. They shall not succeed!

   Next Friday evening I'm going to be babysitting my neighbours kids. He's, I'd say, seven now & she's two. Two of the most adorable children ever! They are seriously smart kids too. I love them! The seven year old & I always end up talking about superheroes for ages. I'm thinking of downloading some cartoon film of superman or something & bring my laptop over & we can watch it together or something. I think she, the two year old, would be put in bed before their parents leave.

   Anyway, I'm pretty happy my neighbour texted looking for me to babysit. Other than the fact that I actually like playing with her kids & minding them, it also means a bit of cash. I'm estimating €30 - €50. It'll be  going mainly towards our holiday to Colorado this Christmas, as I've gotten enough for my camera already. I'm waiting for the Black Friday sales first, though, before I purchase my Nikon baby!

   So, I've been busy, busy; working & saving money. Now, it's time to relax & just to do what Shauna wants for a few hours during the weekend. :) It'll prepare me for the coming week; help reduce any unneeded stress.

It'll be some downtime - exactly what I need!

Made My Day!!!

I usually hate when people call me cute & adorable.

It makes me think people think that I'm really childish looking or even mentally.

Usually due to the context.

 

However, yesterday, I showed two very good looking French lads to the twin room. I totally wanted to giggle & just stare up (they were freakin' TALL) at their manly beauty, but I kept my cool & told them everything that we usually tell the new guests.

So proud of myself for not making a fool of myself!

One of them even said "We'll see you in the morning, yeah?"

Both had huge smiles plastered across their faces.

 

Am I reading into this too much?

I think so too... But I won't tell myself that! XD

 

So, I served them breakfast & they were totally gorgeous & sweet.

Then, after, they were paying mam the bill in the lounge.

I so wanted to go in, but I decided to wait until I heard them leaving...

BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER!!!

They left without me hearing :/

So feckin' annoyed!!!

 

Mam later told me that they had mentioned me, on their own accord, saying how I was so nice & I did very well helping them & serving breakfast to them (not everyone mentions me at all!).

So, I thought this was sweet & I was super happy & even more annoyed that I missed saying goodbye.

I was especially annoyed when Mam said they were looking in at me in the dinning room (there's a glass panes in the double doors), like they wanted me to look, or say goodbye. Meantime, I was trying not to look out, staring at their beauty! -_-

Last time I'll ever try not be rude staring!

 

I went upstairs to clean the rooms after everyone had left.

We have a comment book upstairs & some guests write in it, some don't.

I noticed that there were a few new comments, so I read them.

The last one was from the French lads.

They thanked us for our hospitality & said everything was beautiful.

All good stuff!

BUT!!!

The last line made my day.

 

"The daughter is adorable too."

 

I don't give a crap about what I usually get with that word, but I'm feckin' happy with today! XD

These lads turned out to be two engineers, in their mid to early twenties, from Paris.

They were both well over 6ft & 100% manly beauty.

I ain't complaining! Haha! XD
